Judith Brown

Judith Brown is a retired Master’s degree nurse and aid worker. After retirement she began investigating censorship, inaccuracies and bias in the British media, particularly in its Middle East coverage. She investigated The Influences on Arab Imagery in the British Media for which she was awarded a PhD from Exeter University. She also examined story selection during the Yemen War, for which she was awarded a Master’s in Research into Journalism from UWE. Her current work investigates legislation by national governments to control information, and how these censorship efforts interact with the extensive and extremely well-funded global fact checking industry.
